Acclaimed Australian guitarist Rupert Boyd performs masterpieces of the classical guitar repertoire including Agustín Barrios’s La Catedral; two lute suites by J.S. Bach: the Prelude and Allegro from the Prelude, Fugue, and Allegro, BWV 998, and the Prelude and Gavotte en Rondeau from the Suite in E major BWV 1006a. Other pieces include the Dresden Suite No. 1 by Sylvius Leopold Weiss; Leo Brouwer’s Estudios Sencillos; and two selections by Isaac Albéniz: Cataluña and Sevilla.
